What we're looking for
We are hiring our first Growth Lead to design and scale the growth engine of Shotgun. You will start on the B2C side of our marketplace — building virality, loops, notifications, CRM, referral mechanics, and lifecycle — and progressively expand your scope to the entire marketplace system.
This is not a management role at first: it is a hands-on builder role. You will experiment, launch, and measure. You will work closely with our fan squad (PM, engineers, data, design) and with the CEO directly to establish the foundations of growth at Shotgun. Over time, you will own the growth model, define the metrics tree, and build a growth team.
What you will do
- Design & run experiments: set up weekly growth sprints, prioritize hypotheses, test, and learn.
- Drive distribution power: increase the % of sales coming from Shotgun channels (notifications, social, app).
- Expand the follow graph: grow organizer & artist follow penetration, powering automated Day-1 sales.
- Boost velocity: improve Day-1 ticket sales to reinforce organizer retention and virality.
- Seed inbound B2B growth: build early playbooks to drive qualified inbound organizers.
- Build growth foundations: dashboards, cadence, attribution, experimentation framework.
- Scale what works: define hiring roadmap (lifecycle, paid, referral, CRM) based on proven channels.
The job is made for you if you are...
- Hands-on builder: you have personally shipped experiments, not just written playbooks.
- B2C growth experienced (5+ years): ideally in consumer apps (social, fintech, marketplaces).
- Scrappy & resourceful: you know how to make progress with limited budget or bandwidth.
- Data-driven & creative: you can read dashboards and spot levers, but also imagine new loops.
- Low-ego & curious: you care more about outcomes than titles, and you want to keep learning.

- Improve Follow penetration (% of active buyers following ≥1 organizer/artist)

- Scale inbound qualified organizer leads
