Revenue Data & Operations Engineer
What is Shotgun?

We provide powerful tools to sell tickets, build strong brands, and connect with fans in meaningful ways. From 2020 to 2024, Shotgun achieved rapid growth with GMV increasing 20x and revenue growing 30x - leading the company to profitability. Today, we support over 6,000 clients and engage more than 6,000,000 users across Europe, the US, and LATAM.
In the past seven years, Shotgun has raised €10M from Newfund, Venrex, One RagTime, Creator Collective, and BPI Culture Fund. We are a lean and dynamic team of 90 people, with offices in Paris, Miami, São Paulo, Lisbon, and Marseille. Our culture is built on passion, commitment, ownership, and humility.
What we are looking for?
We're looking for individuals who want more than just a job. People willing to get out of their comfort zone to reach outstanding goals. Doers who never stop learning, are curious about everything and love solving problems. We want people who are talented, optimistic, and easy-going: who set the bar high but don't take themselves too seriously.
The Role
As Shotgun grows, so does our ambition. We're branching out into new territories, launching new business lines and building the systems that let our commercial teams scale without breaking.
As a Revenue Data & Operations Engineer, you'll be embedded within the Global Operations team, at the intersection of Sales, Data, Finance and Product. You will own the critical data and tooling infrastructure behind Shotgun's revenue: the pipelines that move our commercial data, the models that attribute GMV and compute net margin, the custom apps that shape our CRM to our needs, and the AI systems that help our teams work faster.
This is a builder's role. You will design and ship end-to-end - from a dbt model in the warehouse to a custom React app inside CRM to an AI agent posting into Slack - and you'll own these systems in production, not just prototype them. Your work directly powers how we forecast, price, contract, and measure the health of our business.
What you will do
Data pipelines & analytics engineering
Own our B2B CRM data model and associated data pipeline end-to-end (Hubspot / Airbyte / DBT / Snowflake)
Own and evolve our GMV attribution model, crossing product and Ops data to attribute contracts at the event level.
Own our net margin model: computing revenue, VAT, PSP fees (from Stripe API data), marketing costs (from Airtable), and sponsorship / access control / retrocommission fees — pushed to Snowflake as a clean, auditable dataset.
Own a Market Intelligence Platform leveraging external data: collecting live-events data from multiple sources, enriching and deduplicating them, merging it with Shotgun data, and modeling distribution coverage, ultimately enabling the team to qualify its Total Adressable Market.
Be a key contributor to our forecast models.
Custom development & systems integration
Build custom apps inside CRM to bend it to our needs — e.g. sizing a deal, computing its forecasted net margin, or creating a pricing object.
Own and maintain our HubSpot / Oneflow / n8n / Slack / Airtable / Supabase integrations so everything runs seamlessly in production.
AI-powered tooling
Build and deploy internal AI systems (Claude + Shotgun MCP) — for example, letting Account Managers put events on sale directly through an AI interface.
Build AI systems on external data to qualify our TAM and surface emerging opportunities, notify the right people in Slack, and close the feedback loop from their reactions back into the model.
Business partnership
Support acquisition stakeholders in their day-to-day — Heads of Music nurturing the market, SDRs, Marketing Event Team, Sales, and Account Managers — turning their needs into tools, data and automations.
The job is for you if
You have 2+ years of experience in Revenue/Business Operations, Data, Analytics Engineering or a similar builder role.
You have strong hands-on experience with a modern data stack: dbt, Snowflake (or equivalents), and ELT tooling like Airbyte.
You're fluent with no-code / low-code automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier).
You can ship code: comfortable with JavaScript/React to build custom apps and UI extensions, and with API integrations (REST, webhooks).
Experience with HubSpot architecture, or another CRM at a deep technical level, is a strong plus.
You use AI daily and are excited to build AI-powered tools - prompts, contexts, MCP, agents.
You have real business sense: you can reason about revenue, margin, attribution and forecasting.
You have outstanding analytical skills, you're proactive and organized, and you can own systems in production autonomously.
You are fluent in French; strong English is necessary
You're eligible to work in France.
👪 Note to women and underrepresented groups: We value diversity because it’s essential for creativity and healthy growth. If you don’t meet 100% of the requirements but are excited by this role, please apply 🙏
