The Role
As Shotgun grows, so does our ambition. We're branching out into new territories, inaugurating fresh ventures, and, in the process, assembling new teams. Our pathway to success lies in our analytical rigor and exhaustive exploration of every opportunity.
We structured our activity in three business lines:
- Concerts & Tours: include concert venues and tour dates. Concerts & tours have specific needs or blockers (e.g. Reserved Seating, Merch Bundle...), involve specific stakeholders (Touring Agents, Local Promoters, Artists, Labels...). They are a key axis of our French go-to-market strategy.
- Festivals: typically involve large-scale event logistics, multi-day programming, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Regardless of genre, they have specific needs (field ops, cashless, complex ticketing & resale...)
- Nightlife: encompasses nightclubs, open-air events, warehouses, collectives, and promoters across all genres. As our company’s historical core, we address the distinctive challenges of nightlife events, offering specialized ticketing, access control, and audience engagement tools to meet the fast-paced and dynamic nature of these experiences.
As an Account Manager (AM), you will oversee a portfolio of organizers primarily within our Concerts and Tours business line, with additional clients from the Festival and Nightlife sectors. You will play a vital role in driving our business success in the French market, supporting clients throughout their entire journey—from onboarding through renewal.
Your responsibilities will span the full client lifecycle: welcoming new organizers, providing strategic guidance, promoting product adoption, conducting performance reviews, and forecasting future activity and growth opportunities.
Working closely with a dedicated Customer Success Manager, you’ll focus on nurturing client relationships and commercial strategy, while your counterpart handles operational execution and coordination with Marketing and Product teams. In this role, you’ll serve as both an internal and external project manager, championing the growth and satisfaction of our organizer partners.
What you will do
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing the commercial potential of your client portfolio while building strong, trust-based relationships over time. Working collaboratively with a Customer Success Manager (who handles daily operations and implementation), your key responsibilities will include:
1. Relationship Development & Nurturing
- Grow and deepen relationships with key client stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts - new tours, new artists joining the roaster.
- Serve as the main commercial point of contact, building trust and proactively maintaining regular communication.
2. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Lead the entire renewal process, from early engagement to timely contract signatures.
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities by analyzing client needs and proposing tailored solutions (e.g., Artist page).
- Oversee commercial discussions—pricing, contract terms, and strategic initiatives with clients.
- Work closely with the CSM to align sales efforts with operational insights and client satisfaction.
3. Client Consulting & Strategic Account Planning
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess account health, present key performance metrics, discuss strategic priorities, and propose actionable next steps.
- Advise clients on market trends and best practices to help them reach their goals and maximize their value from our platform.
- Develop account plans, identifying clear growth and renewal targets per client.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Gather and relay feedback on client needs to inform product and service improvements.
- Work with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure smooth project execution.
- Support the Customer Success Manager in resolving escalated issues with a commercial impact.
5. Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate records of account status, renewal timelines, and forecasted revenue.
- Share insights and opportunities with leadership and relevant teams to drive business performance.

- Are highly analytical, able to turn data into strategic actions and commercial opportunities.
- Have a strong track record of managing and prioritizing multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Thrive in autonomy, demonstrate self-sufficiency, and comfortable taking initiative to get things done.
- Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Hold a Master’s degree in business or a related field.
- Experience in ticketing is a plus
